Buttercup comes from Vintage Acres in Fulton, NY. Her dam was owned by my friends and milked a gallon a day. For Buttercup's 2021/first freshening, she, unfortunately, freshened early and the kids were stillborn. Despite that sadness, she was a huge help in helping to raise some bottle/orphaned kids through that year! For her 2nd freshening she kidded triplets for us! She raised the two doelings and the buckling went as a bottle kid, so the kids wouldn't tear her teats up. She is a wonderful mom! Buttercup is our teen daughter's doe and she milks Buttercup all by herself. Buttercup is probably THE SWEETEST goat in the herd, both to people and other herd-mates.
