Buttercup is Iris' maternal half-sister. Since we love Buttercup so much, when we got the opportunity to add Iris to the herd, we jumped at the chance. Iris was bred by my friends in Trout Creek, NY. They raise their herd almost identically to us, so that was an added benefit. She kidded for the first time Fall 2022 and has been a great mom and milk doe.
